Our A.M. Best Rating: "A" Excellent for five years straight
Following, the full text of the Overview of A.M. Best's Insurer Profile of our company posted June 6, 1999. On the A.M. Best Web site (www.ambest.com) you'll find a summary of this information under our name and "insurer profile."

"This rating reflects the company's outstanding operating performance, excellent capitalization and conservative operating strategies. These positive ratings factors are derived from the company's expertise and leadership position in its niche specialty market, extensive loss control capabilities and high quality balance sheet. The rating also acknowledges AXA's brand name recognition within the fine arts industry, successful branch office network and value-added service it provides its customers.

"Lastly, the company also benefits from the parental support of its ultimate shareholder, AXA, one of the leading worldwide insurance and financial services organizations with diversified insurance operations located throughout the world.

"Partially offsetting these factors are the company's heavily concentrated product/market profile and the effects from increasingly competitive market pressures. Despite increased competition in its fine art niche market, the company has been able to sustain forward market momentum. AXA's rating outlook is stable."

Our Financial Strength
We are part of the global AXA Group, which is consistently ranked number one or two in insurance. AXA Group had $1.25 trillion in assets under management as of December 31, 2005. Revenues for the AXA Group in 2005 were over $89 billion with a net income of $5.2 billion.

Attentive Claims Service
When a claim is made, we are determined to resolve a painful experience for the insured expeditiously and fairly. Our claims professionals are solely dedicated to handling art and collectibles loss and damage. They have considerable claims and valuables expertise. If damage can be successfully repaired, we will marshall the world's leading authorities on behalf of the client's ultimate satisfaction.

Conservation Philosophy
We assume that a collector has two views of a work of art or a collectible: as a financial asset to be protected, and as a beloved possession to be secured against damage and deterioration. Unlike conventional policy writers who extend coverage to valuables, we are experts in helping novice and serious collectors alike care for their treasures. Our consultation services are free of charge and we encourage you to use them as a benefit to your clients and your relationship with them. An overview of our advisory services has been published in The Fine Art Collector's Guide and installments with an archive can be found on this web site.
